Fencing, the art of swordsmanship, has been practiced for centuries. Originally geared for combat, it is now staged for Olympic gold. The sport of fencing develops quick thinking, poise, agility and speed, as well as self-confidence and sportsmanship. Fencing is a lifetime sport, equally suitable for men and women, children and adults. Zeta Fencing in Ashland, Massachusetts, under the direction of Head Coach Dmytro Boyko, offers a range of sabre fencing programs at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. It is simply the most fabulous experience and the students (youth & adults) are taught far more than fencing: responsibility, accountability, tenacity and grace. They come out with far more grit than when they started. Fencing is truly a sport for all ages. If you have fenced before and would like to return to the sport in adulthood - we have a class for you. If you just found out about fencing for the first time, or if you have a child who has discovered the sport and now would like to try it yourself - we are happy to teach you as well. Whatever your reasons, it is never too late to start fencing. Youth classes start at age 8 & up and adult classes are for ages 17+.Adult classes are mixed by age and gender.
